MZ Design Solutions LLC (MZD) is a luxury home and commercial space architectural designer in the Greater Charlotte area in North Carolina. MZD's founder, Maria Zeolite, has over 20 years of experience in designing luxury homes, commercial spaces, and special use facilities.

Maria is intimately familiar with all aspects of designing and building. From conceptual design through building site design follow up. MZD will work with clients on any aspect of their building project. MZD projects range from small additions to commercial building designs, to custom homes all done in a wide range of styles. No one particular style defines our work, as each design is a unique reflection of our clients' personal taste's, their wants and needs, as well as the sites' conditions.

WHY HIRE US:
MZD'S chief architectural designer, Maria Zeolite, holds a degree in architecture and urban design from UM (University of Mendoza) Argentina. She completed a thesis in "Architecture of Historic Renovation and Urban Design" at WIT (Wentworth Institute of technology) Boston, USA and a thesis in "Non Residential Architecture, Urban & Landscape Design" at UM. She completed architectural coursework as a special student at Harvard University and M.I.T. and she is a member of the American Institute of Building Design.
Maria spent her early career with CRICYT Scientific Technological Center; and Bormida & Yanzon (B&Y), a high quality architectural firm in Mendoza Argentina. She specialized in green technologies for architecture at CRICYT and in luxury residences, high end hotels, and wineries at B&Y. While there Maria served as an apprentice, project designer and project manager. Maria's work encompassed many projects as well as her participation in some winery projects . This experience was the greatest influence in her career.
Following her work with Bormida, Maria was a consulting architect in Milan, Italy until moving to the Lake Norman area in 2011. Maria has continued her work as a consulting architectural designer in North Carolina on a part time basis until the formation of MZ Design Solutions, signaling her full time commitment to assisting clients in the design and construction of their dream homes.
